Dr. Abdo Y. Ismail is a highly esteemed and board-certified periodontist committed to providing exceptional periodontal and implant dentistry care. Born in the picturesque city of Geneva, Switzerland, Dr. Ismail’s journey in dentistry spans multiple continents and years of dedicated study and practice.
Our Expertise
Dr. Ismail graduated from the prestigious MSA (Modern Science and Arts) University in Cairo, Egypt, in 2009. His passion for restorative dentistry led him to the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he completed the Restorative Preceptorship program in 2011. Further honing his skills, he pursued a fellowship in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Kentucky, culminating in 2019. Dr. Ismail also completed a three-year residency in periodontics at the University of Kentucky, where he served as Chief Resident and earned his Master of Science degree in 2023.

Dr. Ismail’s expertise and leadership in periodontics were recognized with the prestigious Billy Pennel Award from the Southern Academy of Periodontology in 2022. His research contributions have also earned him numerous accolades from the University of Kentucky and have been published in esteemed dental journals.
